Turning 25: notes on being a work in progress
I turned 25 last month.
It's funny, when I was younger, 25 felt like peak adulthood. Career sorted. Bank balance strong. Life direction locked in. The reality? It's somewhere between "I think I know what I'm doing" and "bhai… yeh kya ho raha hai?"
Honestly, though, it's been a meaningful journey.
What the years actually added up to
I've made choices I'm proud of, and a few I'd happily archive like old, embarrassing Facebook photos. I've met people who became home, and lost a few I thought would stay forever. Both shaped me, and I'm not sure I'd trade either.
I've switched cities, habits, and priorities. And somewhere in all that chaos, I grew in ways I genuinely didn't expect.
The clarity, if not the answers
Turning 25 hasn't handed me answers. But it has given me something quieter and more useful: CLARITY.
There is no universal timeline. There's just your story, unfolding at its own pace. Some days feel like momentum, others feel like a pause, and I'm slowly learning that both are part of the same process. The pause isn't the opposite of progress, sometimes it's where the progress happens.
So here's to being a work in progress. To trusting life even when the plot feels confusing. And to becoming someone my younger self would look at and say: "Not perfect. But genuine. And trying. And that's enough."
Let's see where it goes.
